Hello Guys . Whats up?
Today I am gonna share a rom of MT6577 . I have ported and Developed on my Symphony W71 and You can port this rom on your device which is related to the same soc version.
Some Devices of MT6577 ::
1.Symphony Xplorer W71
2.Walton Primo R1
2.Walton Primo G1
3.Symphony Xplorer W60
4.Lava Iris 405
And many more..
First of all you need to authorize the root Permission Of your device .
Second one is .. You have to flash any recovery(CWM,TWRP,PHILZ,CTR) image to get the recovery mode.
If You dont have any recovery image , then make a search on google and download the recovery.
To flash any recovery You can follow this Tutorial..."http://....."
After flashing the recovery image you have to make a Backup of your Current or running rom.Most important thing for newbie.
This is important because , if you you face any problem to your device you can fix this by returning to your stock firmware..
Thats it.
How to Install this rom :
1.Reboot in Recovery mode
2.Backup your current rom.(Important)
3.Goto Wipe data and factory reset.
4.Goto Advance and mount data,system,cache
5.Format System , data , and cache
6.Install zip from sd card
7.Flash this rom normally
8.Wipe cache partition
9.Wipe Dalvik Cache
: Everyone thinks that , one rom that has bugs is not suitable for his/her smartphone . Customizing rom is the part of knowing the internal interface and developing firmware . So he should use the rom and should try to fix the Bug by himself . If he do this ,it will make him more expert on this respect and will give him more encouragement for going ahead .
This rom has some bug .
Bug 1 : Messaging app will not work .
Fix 1 : Download this messaging app and copy this app with root explorer or any other file browser that have root path access.
Paste this on this location.
" /System/app/"
After pasting this , the location of this rom will be
" /System/app/Mms.apk "
Bug 2 : Bluetooth
Fix 2 : follow this thread.
